Optimally protected in every situation

Alongside the already excellent protection of Fronius battery charging systems themselves, additional protection systems can be added for specific applications. This allows you to increase the protection rating quite easily to IP 23 standard, or even to IP 54 with a special housing. An additional air filter can furthermore be installed, in addition to the highly effective standard filter. Transport protection equipment is available for Fronius battery charging systems, which is especially useful for rental fleets.

Air filter

For reliable protection for your battery charging systems

An air filter provides effective protection for the battery charging system’s internal components against contaminants and prevents short-circuits caused by dust particles, increasing the reliability and service life of your battery charging system dramatically.

Fitting an air filter is especially recommended in dirty environments with a high amount of dust, for example in heavy industry. The air filter from Fronius also offers optimal protection against spraywater, making the filter grid particularly easy to clean.
