When the Rappoldt family from southern Germany decided to install their own PV system, they chose installation firm Febesol, an experienced Fronius System Partner (FSP). Febesol installed the 20 kWp system, the heart of which is the two Fronius GEN24 Plus 10.0 hybrid inverters, thereby fulfilling the Rappoldt family's dream of self-sufficient energy production. 100% energy self-sufficiency

For the Rappoldt family, this means around 21,500 kWh of solar power annually from their own PV system. By combining hybrid inverters and battery storage, the Rappoldts use their self-generated green electricity day and night and achieve close to 100% energy self-sufficiency during the summer months. Their electric car is flexibly charged with solar power from their own roof or alternatively with mains power, which is charged with variable electricity tariffs at the cheapest times. All thanks to our Fronius Wattpilot charging solution.

Father-of-two Daniel Rappoldt and his wife expect to cut their energy bill by 1,000 euros a year. “It's just a great feeling to be more independent, to have clean energy and to do something for our children's future.
